for harp with transducer
A transducer is fitted to the sound box of the harp. The transducer is able to create vibrations in the wood of the instrument, and thus transform it into a loudspeaker. The harp is as such a hybrid instrument. Sounds produced when the harp is played live meet with those from a recording of a harp, which is tuned one quarter tone deeper. The full effect of combining the sound qualities of the harp duo can be heard in various situations. Single events are combined with groupings of sounds played regularly or irregularly.
