Eva Gentner (* 1992 in Ellwangen)

Lives and works in Heidelberg and Mannheim. Her artistic practice ranges from painting to performance and spatial installations. Since 2017, she has been working with the composer Adrian Nagel on joint artistic concepts. They realised their first joint exhibition at Kunsthalle Baden-Baden in 2017 and received the award for visual arts from the Stiftung für Fruchtmalerei und Skulptur (Foundation for Fruit Painting and Sculpture).

Eva Gentner studied painting under Helmut Dorner at the Karlsruhe Academy of Fine Arts until 2017 and in the same year was awarded the EHF 2010 scholarship from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. She also received the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg scholarship in 2018 and Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris scholarship in 2019.
