Ari Rabenu (* 1990, Jerusalem, Israel)
He graduated in 2016 with a B.Mus. degree in composition and music education from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University, where he studied under Dan Yuhas. As an undergraduate at the BMSOM, Ari received the Award of Excellence on several occasions.
In June 2016, Ari received the Award of Excellence of the Dean of Arts at Tel Aviv University. Later that year, his piece Disillusionments for symphony orchestra won first prize at the yearly BMSOM composition competition.
Ari is currently studying for his M.Mus. degree at the BMSOM under Ruben Seroussi. He has been a recipient of the Colton Family Scholarship for two consecutive years.
Several of Ari’s compositions have been performed by Israeli ensembles such as the Meitar Ensemble, the Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra and the BMSOM Symphony Orchestra.
